Volclay de México, S.A. de C.V. was born in 1985 with the joint venture between American Colloid Company and Arcillas Industriales de Durango, S.A. de C.V. In the middle of 1995, American Colloid Company incremented its participation in Volclay de México.

The company can account for the titles for the mines that allow it to work the bentonite deposits, and all the necessary permits that allow it to haul the mineral to the stockpile wharehouse, all this is supervised by the company Mining engineer and backed by the equipment of exploration and sampling.
